The dimension and basis of spaces of multivariate splines

摘要

The purpose of this paper is to study the recent development of certain aspects of multivariate spline spaces. More specifically, we will survey the existence of bivariate spline, the dimension and basis of the bivariate spline spaces Sμk(Δ) with various partitions Δ. Furthermore, we will also introduce some results on the higher dimensional splines.
