Theory of recursive generation of systems of orthogonal polynomials: An illustrative example

Pending its publication in full detail, the theory of recursive generation of systems of orthogonal polynomials is verbally described and illustrated by means of a typical example of practical application. For this purpose, the theory is applied to the polynomials of Legendre, chosen as initially given orthogonal sequence.
