Numerical conformal mapping via the Szegö kernel

摘要

A new method to compute the Riemann mapping function is numerically implemented and tested on examples. The method expresses the Szegö kernel as the solution of a second-kind integral equation. The equation has its origin in an earlier non-numerical work of Stein and one of the authors [8]. The experimental results show the algorithm to be effective and stable.
