The solution of a time-dependent problem by the B-spline method

摘要

In this paper, we apply the B-spline method for solving the boundary-value problems involving non-homogeneous heat, convection–diffusion, wave and telegraph equations. The accuracy of the method for the equation is O((Δt)+h2). Several examples are given to verify the reliability and efficiency of the method.
