• We study G1 connection of four pieces of developable surfaces with Bézier boundaries.
• We give the constrains of the control points of the surfaces when G1 connecting them.
• As the shape parameters, μ1,μ2,μ,λ can control the shape of the composite surface.
• The method can be extended to the case when boundary curves have different degrees.
