Monotone convergence of iterative methods for (n, p) and (p, n) boundary value problems

We provide sufficient conditions so that the Picard iterative scheme for (n, p) and (p, n) boundary value problems converges monotonically. An example which illustrates the usefulness of this technique is also included.
