摘要

The purpose of this study was to examine a series of substantative questions in order to establish construct validity for the Draw-A-Computer User Test. Construct validity for the instrument was supported by determining that the instrument distinguishes between the attitudes of known groups (males vs. females), exhibits concurrent validity in measuring student attitudes, responds to experimental manipulation, is well correlated with similar instruments, and has appropriate content as affirmed by a panel of expert judges. The Draw-A-Computer User Test appears to exhibit adequate construct validity to warrant its usage as an instrument with which to assess children's attitudes towards computers, computer users, and computer technologies.
