Expert system applications in production and operations management: A selected bibliography (1975–1989)

This is a bibliography of specific expert system applications in the production and operations management (POM) area. Articles on expert system shells, expert system tools, and nonapplication theory are not included in the bibliography. The bibliography contains a total of 356 papers, extracted from (1) previous surveys in books and journals, (2) ABI/INFORM on-line database, (3) manual compilation by the author, and (4) major conference proceedings. The bibliography consists of 246 conference papers and 110 articles published in various English language journals and is organized in 15 sections based on the functional area of production and operations management.
