A computerised environment for the automation of form-based procedures

Paper forms play an integral part in our society today. A large amount of specilised knowledge is required for handling complex forms in areas such as engineering. In this paper we will be looking into how forms are used and list some of their major limitations. We will present an object-oriented approach to overcome these limitations by introducing K-Sheet (Knowledge-Sheet), a computerised environment for the automation of form-based procedures.
