Measurement by an expert system of the critical parameters of a pure fluid

The purpose of this research work is the development of an experimental procedure for the determination of the pure fluids critical point by an expert system. To reach this purpose, the expert system has been conceived from a commercial expert system generator: Chronos. The expert system has been adjusted with fluid CO2 and tested with N2O and SF6 fluids. The accuracy of the critical pressure and temperature measurements is 20 kPa and 0.1°C respectively.
