MAPNOS: Mathematical programming formulation normalization system

摘要

We present a Model Management System that we have developed that can identify mathematical programming formulations. The system attempts to replicate the type of model identification that an expert mathematical programmer would perform when faced with a formulation. The system first converts the formulation to a standard form, then extracts the abstract structure from the standard form, and finally, identifies the formulation. In this paper we concentrate on the first phase of the system, converting the formulation to standard form.
