Morphogenesis of neural networks

摘要

This paper describes a morphogenesis process, based on biological metaphors, able to build neural networks. The process starts from an original cell which contains a chromosome. Cells can give birth to other cells, establish connections among them. The dynamics of the process are scheduled by transformations inside cells and communications between them. This process is used to genetically evolve neural networks driving an autonomous robot.
