Sub-field normalization of the IEEE scientific journals based on their connection with Technical Societies

• Sub-fields are delimited using the information on the sponsoring IEEE Societies.

• The approach is classification-dependent but certainly more “factual” than others (those “ready made” provided, for example, by WoS or Scopus).
