A remark on the geometry of Egghe's dual IPPS

Egghe's construction of dual information production processes (IPPs) is considered from a geometric rather than an analytic viewpoint. This reveals more clearly the simple nature of the duality, and certain results then follow immediately. The different notions of self-duality and pure duality are highlighted.
