Investigation of the working process in central university libraries

摘要

This article is based on work in a project for economically restructuring the working process and for planning the area of book processing in central university libraries in the Federal Republic of Germany. The outcome of this project should make it possible to plan both qualitative and quantitative personnel employment, with a view towards rational allocation of budgetary funds, and should also serve as an aid in making decisions in the event of employment demands.
