Blow up for the wave equation with a nonlinear dissipation of cubic convolution type in RN

摘要

It is shown that the solution of the wave equation in RN with a nonlinear source of polynomial type and a nonlinear dissipation of nonlocal nature, blows up in finite time. Precisely, the dissipation is of cubic convolution type involving a singular kernel.
