A new direct method for the numerical calculation of a swallowtail

摘要

A nonlinear operator equation, depending on three real parameters, is given. We designed a new direct method for the calculation of a swallowtail of this equation. It turns out that the special structure of the extended system can be used to construct an efficient algorithm.
