On the method of tangent hyperbolas in Banach spaces

As an application of the technique employed by the author in a series of papers [15–18], some results are established concerning convergence of the method of tangent hyperbolas for solving nonlinear equations in Banach spaces as well as existence and uniqueness of solution. The results are compared with those obtained by Döring [5].
