摘要

After giving a short review of the existing outcome research and highlighting the limitations of computerized training procedures in cognitive remediation, the computer-aided interactive video (CIV) technique is introduced in detail. A system description and examples of its recent applications in educational, industrial, or corporate training schemes, known as computer based training (CBT), are presented. The emphasis of this article is placed on the ability of CIV to employ theoretical concepts and remediation strategies especially for the treatment of attention or memory deficits in a more adequate way, allowing higher ecological validity and faster generalization. Our preliminary experience with the novel application of this interactive technique in neuropsychological rehabilitation is discussed, followed by an outlook on further research and treatment developments.
