Leadership and information system management: A literature review

摘要

This article reviews empirical and selected conceptual research on leadership styles in the information systems environment. The studies under review contribute to our knowledge and understanding of implementation theory related to computer-based information systems. The studies reviewed demonstrate that leadership style is a significant factor in influencing implementation success. Researchers and managers will find this information useful in developing their own inquiry and improving their understanding of this important management issue.
