摘要

The M-MAC provides two worthwhile functions. First, it performs a number of statistical procedures on standardized test data that are too time-consuming to be practically and routinely done by hand. The results of these statistical analysis can aid a psychologist in synthesizing evaluation data. Second, the M-MAC also is a useful tool for planning IEP's based upon the results of standardized assessment data. It provides hierarchically ordered IEP behavioral objectives in specific areas and also allows the user to modify program-generated objectives before printing them. In conclusion, M-MAC positively illustrates the application of microcomputing to the assessment of school children, but does not significantly advance the practice of assessment.
